Abortion
Should you kill a life or save a life? Abortion is a very serious topic. Approximately 42 million abortions happen per year and approximately 115,000 per day. The aborted baby doesn't even have the right to choose life. There are many other outcomes other that abortion. You always have the option to seek adoption. Abortion has some serious side effects like heavy bleeding, infection, some fetal parts may be mistakenly left inside after the abortion, sepsis, anesthesia, damage to the cervix, scarring of the uterine lining, perforation of the uterus, damage to internal organs and death. There are two types of abortion, surgical and chemical. Surgical abortion is the most common type of procedure. This is an invasive medical procedure that is done in a hospital or abortion facility. There are different methods of abortion that are performed throughout all 9 months of pregnancy. Chemical abortion is also known as RU-486, it is a combination of pharmaceutical drugs that can be taken orally or by injection to cause an abortion. The process requires multiple doctor visits and induces severe cramping and bleeding which women experience on average 7-30 days. Abortion not only sounds like great physical pain, but it also is wrong. The baby/ fetus doesn't even have a say in whether they want to live or not.

ReplyDeleteFor the most part, I think abortion is wrong. The only time I think an abortion is okay to be considered, is if a woman got pregnant from a rape.
ReplyDeleteI think abortion is not the right thing to do. People shold at least have the baby and than give it away if the can't take care of it.
ReplyDeletei agree that abortion is wrong. the child doesn't have a choice, and the mother shouldn't be able to make that choice either. they were the person that got pregnant, they should have to have the responsibility of taking care of the child, or giving it up for adoption. anything but abortion.
ReplyDeleteYou have to look at it from the mother's perspective. What if they can't support a baby and it would hurt too much to give it away when it is born. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that abortion is right but is it any better that kids rot in orphanages? It really depends how you look at a fetus; if you see it as a living entity or just a parasite.
ReplyDeleteI believe that it is the persons choice. Im not saying it is right to have an abortion but it is safer to have the abortion done in a hospital then in a alley way or other unsafe ways.

ReplyDeleteAbortion is wrong no matter what, I think that if a person is responsible enough to have sex they should be responsible enough to take care of a baby. The baby deserves to live! People often use abortion as a form of birth control and there are many other ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI believe abortion is wrong. It kills the baby no matter how young in developement they are. Sadly it's legal to do this and people have a choice. But they should have the baby and give it up for adoption not abort it.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that abortion is wrong, only if its nessacary. For example, if the mother couldn't support it, it would be easier on everyone not to go through all of the trouble just to give the baby away. Most girls don't like seeing adoption as an option because who would want to give their baby away? I don't think anyone wants to. Sometimes abortion is an appropiate option.
